Hey Dudley Shoals Family,
Just wanted to take a moment to reflect on the incredible journey we’ve been on together since I joined you in 2017. It’s been a wild ride, filled with ups, downs, and everything in between. But through it all, I’ve seen God’s love shining bright in each one of you.
We read in Ephesians 5:25 that “Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her.” That’s the kind of love that unites us together as a family in Christ. And let me tell you, I feel that love every time we gather, especially on Sundays when we come together to worship.
Now, I won’t sugarcoat it – we’re far from perfect. We stumble and still mess up. But the mission of Christ is carried out through His Church. Together we must COME, GROW, and SERVE. So as we celebrate DSBC, may we first celebrate God’s grace – it’s what sustains us, binds us, and leads us forward. We’re imperfect but loved, broken but beautiful, all because of His amazing grace.
I wouldn’t trade this church family for anything in the world. And if you’re new around here, just know that there’s a place for you at our table. We can’t wait to welcome you with open arms and share in this journey of faith together.
